Houlton Forensics

Director, Dr Tobias Houlton PhD HonFRPS

Houlton Forensics delivers specialist forensic imaging and human identification services underpinned by scientific rigour, research-led practice, and strong ethical standards. The consultancy was established and is directed by Dr Tobias Houlton, whose career spans more than a decade of academic and operational forensic work across University of Dundee, University of the Witwatersrand, and Liverpool John Moores University. His expertise has supported law enforcement agencies, museums, heritage organisations, and humanitarian initiatives worldwide.

We provide a multidisciplinary, research-informed approach to complex forensic and identification challenges, including:

  • 2D and 3D forensic imaging

  • Craniofacial identification

  • Medico-legal and scientific illustration

  • Investigative research

  • Digital image analysis and forensic visualisation

 

All services are evidence-based and delivered in accordance with recognised professional and quality assurance standards, incorporating robust data protection practices and laboratory-quality workflows.
